Terms of Use

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement to make an online purchase or booking. A parent or legal guardian may contact us about services for a minor where permitted, but should not create a booking in the minor's name without speaking with our team first.

You agree to provide accurate, current information and to protect any confirmation links, payment methods, or account credentials associated with your transaction. Tell us promptly if you believe a booking or payment was made without authorization.

Site content is for general educational and informational purposes. It is not medical advice, a diagnosis, a prescription, or a substitute for an in-person assessment by a qualified professional. A service shown online may not be appropriate for you. Final eligibility, timing, technique, and aftercare are determined through the applicable consultation and consent process.

• Availability.Times, providers, services, and prices may change. Placing a request does not guarantee availability. An appointment is confirmed only when you receive a confirmation from Skin & Self or our booking provider.
• Payment. The current online flow generally requires payment in full to complete a booking or package purchase. Square processes the transaction. Taxes, gratuity, and any other charge will be identified before authorization when applicable.
• Errors. We may correct an obvious pricing, description, or availability error before providing the service. If you were charged and we cannot confirm the appointment or honor the purchase, we will offer an appropriate reschedule, credit, or refund.
• Authorization. You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method submitted. Do not dispute a valid charge solely to bypass the cancellation policy. Contact us first so we can review the transaction.

You may cancel or reschedule without a cancellation charge when you give at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations within 24 hours and missed appointments may be nonrefundable because the time was reserved for you. We review genuine emergencies individually.

Completed services, packages, retail products, gift cards, duplicate or failed bookings, and business-initiated cancellations are addressed in our Refund and Cancellation Policy, which is incorporated into these terms.

Packages

Packages are prepaid and remain subject to consultation, clinical eligibility, scheduling availability, and any stated expiration or use terms shown before purchase. A package does not guarantee a specific provider, appointment time, or result. Package refunds are governed by the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Memberships and recurring charges

A recurring charge applies only if you separately enroll in a membership or plan and expressly authorize recurring billing. The price, frequency, minimum term, included benefits, cancellation method, and any material restrictions will be disclosed in the enrollment terms. A one-time booking does not by itself enroll you in recurring billing.

Gift cards

Gift cards are redeemable for eligible Skin & Self purchases and are not replaced if lost or stolen unless we can verify the card and applicable law requires or permits replacement. Gift cards purchased in New York on or after December 10, 2022 generally remain valid for at least nine years, are not subject to service fees, and a remaining balance under $5 may be redeemed for cash, subject to applicable exceptions and law. Promotional certificates may have different lawful terms that are disclosed when issued.

By providing contact information, you authorize us to send transactional communications reasonably related to your inquiry, booking, payment, or service. Marketing email and text messages are sent only as permitted and may be declined without affecting your ability to make a purchase.

Electronic delivery satisfies any requirement that a communication be in writing where permitted by law. Carrier and internet delivery are not guaranteed. Text messaging is also governed by our SMS Terms, including how to stop messages.

The website chat or automated concierge may help answer common questions, collect contact details, or route a request. Automated responses may be incomplete or inaccurate and are not medical advice. Do not rely on chat to diagnose a condition, determine treatment eligibility, or address an emergency. We may retain the conversation to respond, document consent, improve service, and meet legal obligations as described in our Privacy Policy.

You may use the site only for lawful, personal purposes. You may not:

• Access or test systems without authorization, bypass security, or interfere with site operation.
• Use bots, scraping, or automated tools in a way that burdens the service or collects personal information.
• Submit false, fraudulent, infringing, threatening, or unlawful content or impersonate another person.
• Use the site to transmit malware, unsolicited promotions, or content that violates another person's rights.
• Copy, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit the site except as law expressly permits.

We may restrict access, cancel fraudulent transactions, or preserve and disclose records when reasonably necessary to protect the service, users, or legal rights.

Site text, photographs, video, branding, graphics, design, software, and other content are owned by Skin & Self or used with permission and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, nontransferable right to use the site for personal, noncommercial purposes. No other right or license is granted. Written permission is required for reuse except where law permits otherwise.

You retain ownership of content you submit. When you voluntarily provide a review, testimonial, photograph, suggestion, or other material for publication, you grant us a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, adapt, and display it for the purpose you authorized, subject to any separate consent and applicable law.

You represent that you have the necessary rights and that the submission is truthful and does not violate privacy, publicity, copyright, or other rights. We may moderate or remove site submissions, but we do not require a positive review and do not prohibit honest feedback.

The site connects to services operated by Square, map, social-media, communications, and other providers. Their services, availability, and privacy practices are governed by their own terms. We are responsible for choosing providers with reasonable care, but do not control an independent provider's systems or content. A link does not necessarily mean we endorse every statement on the linked site.

Individual responses to aesthetic and wellness services vary. Before-and-after images, testimonials, timelines, and descriptions illustrate possible experiences and do not guarantee your outcome. Results may depend on anatomy, health history, treatment plan, adherence to aftercare, and other factors discussed during consultation.

To the extent permitted by law, the site and its general content are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise that every description, price, image, link, or feature will always be current, uninterrupted, or error-free. This disclaimer concerns the website and general content. It does not eliminate any warranty, professional duty, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, and it does not replace obligations that apply to clinical services.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Skin & Self is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses caused solely by your use of, or inability to use, the website. Nothing in these terms limits liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, personal injury, professional services, violation of law, or any other liability or consumer remedy that cannot be limited or waived.

New York law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim about the website or an online transaction, please contact us and give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve it. Unless applicable law requires otherwise, proceedings may be brought in the state or federal courts serving Westchester County, New York. These terms do not require individual arbitration, waive a class action, or restrict a claim in small-claims court where jurisdiction exists.

We may update these terms prospectively when the site, services, or law changes. The date above identifies the current version. A material change will not retroactively alter a completed transaction unless you agree or the law requires it.

If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the rest will remain effective. A delay in enforcing a term is not a waiver. You may not assign your rights under these terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of a business transfer. These terms, the policies incorporated by reference, and any applicable checkout or treatment terms are the agreement for their respective subjects. If an English and translated version conflict, the English version controls to the extent permitted by law.
